FACILITATORS:

Raoul Goosen – Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa (IDC)

Resume:

Raoul Goosen is a Green Energy business specialist at the Industrial Development Corporation. As a Chemical Engineer he has spent most of his working career in traditional fossil energies and oil.

More recently he has focused on feasibility studies for biofuels, other renewable energies and energy efficiency, and has been involved in the establishment of five such companies in South Africa. His passion is to grow the local economy through smart energy use and supply that also reduces the emissions of global warming gases and pollution.
