Topic: The impact of growing biofuels on communal land in north east Namibia

In recent years, Namibia has reached an important crossing point of growing energy demand therefore a sustainable energy resource need to be utilized. Namibia is a developing country with majority of population living in rural area, many of these, has no access to electricity or reliable source of energy. So, how can Namibia solve the vast energy demand, while still paying attention to environmental-friendly, less health hazardous, renewable and green alternative source of energy? Biogas has arisen as environmental friendly source of energy which apart from providing clean fuel it also reduce waste disposal problem on domestic scale or commercial scale.
