2.2.1 Introduction to ACP Science and Technology Programme “Capacity-Building In South Africa, Namibia And Ghana To Create Sustainable, Non- Food Bio-Oil Supply Chains”

This presentation will provide some background to the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of Countries Science and Technology Programme funded project entitled “Capacity-building in South Africa, Namibia and Ghana to create sustainable, non-food bio-oil supply chains”. Initiated late in 2009, the project is led by The University of Greenwich (United Kingdom), in partnership with the University of Namibia (Namibia), University of Ghana (Ghana), Marine Biological Association (UK), the Research Council for the Development of Innovatory Agro- environmental Systems (CoRiSSIA, Italy), Turner & Townsend (South Africa), Jatropha Africa (Ghana), and Goldex (South Africa).
